More factions will be added as they are discovered by players. There is no need to include these factions in your reputation on your character sheet
You cannot join these factions unless you have positive reputation with them. Sometimes...even that's not enough.
Yakuza: Named after the lowest possible hand in the card game Oichi-Karu, this legendary group of gangsters and extortionist-thieves are known most for their loyalty, brutality and their full-body tattoos. They work in smuggling and extortion, as well as the occasional "display of power" (usually armed robbery or just plain assault on those who have "disrespected" them). They may appear to gaijin to be a group of thugs, but they are well established and have deep roots within the empire...or at least deeper then most desire.
